The leaves and stems have rough hairs giving it a rough texture. More numerous flowers and shorter/fewer petals than R. hirta. Growing Conditions: From full sun to part shade. Highly drought tolerance, can tolerate moist to dry soils. Bloom Time: June through October Bloom Color: Yellow with dark centers Benefit to pollinators/wildlife: Birds eat the seeds.
